So as I stumbled upon the band Dying Out Flame from Kathmandu, which plays Death Metal mixed up with vedic chants and ancient hinduism I got a little curious about this category of metal and began searching Bandcamp for more vedic metal. I found one more band there, there could be more bands, but if so I didn’t find them during my short search. After that I located another band through a google search and I ended up with 3 vedic metal bands.
Lets start out with the band that started my little adventure: Dying Out Flame:

The next group I found was Vedic Ritual from Pune, India, which in their own words is ”Fusing technical metal, EDM, and Indian Classical musical styles”:

Next band that I found was Rudra, formed in 1992 and resides in Singapore. They play metal which incorporates Indian traditional music, Sanskrit chants and mantras.
